Color Bluetooth
What are some brands of head units of high quality?
I am looking for a new head unit and I'm not sure what to get. Be I want Bluetooth and iPod connectivity. I'd prefer a full-color display or OEL screen style. What brands are there that are very good. I know that the most obvious, as Premier, Alpine, etc. Think outside the box here please. Premier is the high quality version of Pioneer. I already have one, but, thanks … I do not care how much it costs, but do not want to be an AV unit.
Bluetooth and iPod capability I would suggest the Eclipse CD3200. It's a very nice unit with Bluetooth built in. You just need to get an additional adapter to work with your iPod. The screen is also very nice in it. Other good units are units the Alps. They would be better to choose for iPod integration. They are also very nice units. Other than those from Pioneer and maybe it is not really high-end not many "," brands out there. If you are looking for a good head unit at a decent price, the options will be among the Alps, Eclipse and Pioneer. Good Luck! Edit: If you do not care about price then how on MacIntosh Labs MX406. No bluetooth or the ability of the iPod, but it's pretty sweet. Other unit head nicer if the price is not a problem: Eclipse CD7200 mkII Alpine DVA-9965 Pioneer DEH-P980BT comes with Bluetooth
